“The Yorkshire Air Ambulance can now announce that they are again operational after being grounded due to the volcanic ash in the air.
Although our service is operational, we will only be dealing with life-threatening cases and will assess each incident on an individual basis.
We are in constant communication with the authorities including our service provider and the Civil Aviation Authority and are taking regular guidance from them.
Updates will be posted when appropriate.”
