CHARITY HQ
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance would like to wish all of their supporters a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
2009 was a busy year for the charity - we carried 344 people directly to hospital. That means every day, at least one person was taken to hospital by our helicopters.
2010 is going to be a busy year for us. Charity HQ are currently getting packed up and ready to move to new offices....more on that next week!!
This year also marks 10 years since the charities inception. Our birthday is 25th October which will be a real landmark for the charity!
The two YAA helicopters have been busy over the festive period in the adverse weather conditions. We urge all our supporters to keep safe when out and about in the snow.
