Lindsey Oil Refinery, Immingham
We were pleased to attend Lindsey Oil Refinery where we were presented with a cheque for £600 from 'B Shift'.
Colleagues at the refinery decided to donate the money to the YAA after we carried one of their colleagues to hospital earlier this year.
Anthony Burman, who works at the refinery, was involved in a serious motorbike accident at Elvington Racetrack, nr York in April 2009. The YAA was able to tranfer him to York District Hospital for treatment.
We were also surprised and grateful to recieve a further cheque for £80 from the refinery angling club too!
