Huddersfield
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) would like to thank the people of Huddersfield after they gave generously to the life-saving charity at the weekend.
Volunteer's organised a collection in the Town Centre on Saturday and as a result, raised over £1,000.
The team, who were at King Street were also available to talk to about the work of the charity.
As an independent charity, The Yorkshire Air Ambulance relies solely on the generosity of individuals and groups to raise the £7,200 they need each day to keep their helicopters in the air. The work of the YAA can be currently seen on the BBC documentary series ‘Helicopter Heroes’ which airs weekdays throughout October on BBC 1 at 9.15am.
