Wetherby
A local businessman from Wetherby has shown his charitable side by offering to support the charity staff at the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) by sponsoring their brand new uniforms.
Tom McClymont, who runs Feel-the-Heat Ltd, was able to present the new jackets to the YAA staff at their Air Support Unit at Leeds Bradford International Airport. The new jackets, which emblazon the distinctive red YAA logo, will be worn by staff when they are out and about in the region representing the charity.
Tom, whose business is based at Thorp Arch Trading Estate commented “I am delighted that Feel-the-Heat is able to support the YAA. The service they provide to the people of Yorkshire is so vital and I am pleased that we are able to assist them by providing their charity staff with brand new jackets to wear. The Feel-the-Heat logo matches perfectly with the YAA logo and I am proud that our brand will be associated with the charity across the region”
Nicky de Whytell, West Yorkshire Development Officer for the YAA, kindly accepted the jackets on behalf of the charity from Feel-the-Heat.
Nicky commented “We are absolutely thrilled that Tom has kindly offered to sponsor the new jackets to wear when we are on our official duties for the life-saving charity. The people of Yorkshire will be able to instantly recognise us as official representatives of the YAA when we attend fundraising events throughout the region.”
