The Yorkshire Air Ambulance have worked with Huddersfield Town Football Club for over two years now on the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign.
We were proud to launch the ‘Keep It Up’ appeal with HTFC actively raising funds throughout last years 2009/ 2010 football season. For every £1 raised, HTFC donated 50p to the YAA and 50p went to the HTFC Youth Academy which dynamically promotes and encourages the development of future football stars from our community. At the end of the season, the campaign had raised a fantastic £120,000!!! Yorkshire Air Ambulance were delighted to receive £60,000 from this from HTFC.
To great acclaim and success, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance logo occupied the key sponsor’s place on the front of the Club’s iconic blue and white striped home shirt after it was donated to the charity by HTFC last season. Although YAA do not occupy the front of the shirt this season, we continue to work as the charity partner of the club and continue to raise funds through the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign.
